i havn't seen a real slow down, but if it bothers you,put the ad in an iframe.your web site will load weather the ad does or not.

Adbrite is really slow..... I had to remove the ads for that reason. I will try the iframe suggestion. Thanks.

i'm ad advertiser. adbrite launched their new system - adbrite 2.0 - on sunday, november 5th. my campaigns are all screwed up bc their system isn't fully debugged. they paused my campaigns mid-day yesterday, and the same thing happened today. (they're having server issues...) anyway they are diligently working on fixing all the bugs but it may take awhile to see significant improvements. but one of the problems with adbrite is that they hardly ever send out notices when there are BIG changes. i found out about the changes when i logged in on sunday and the entire back-end had been overhauled. you can read the update from the man himself: blog.adbrite.com
