Adbrite - Is it seen as payed links??

    Could anybody tell me is Adbrite seen as Paid Links by Google?

    Sorry I know it may be a silly qustion but just wanted to make sure.

    I want to advertise my site with it and was wondering if google seen it as paid links seen as you pay for it and they are links on other people sites.

    Adbrite uses javascript to display ads. These are not seen as "links" by the search engines.

    If you look at a site using Adbrite, you will see this in the source code:
