    AdBrite is absolute CRAP!

I have had over 1,000,000 full page ads shown on my site. My site is high traffic. It only made me $100. Now full page ads that means that it showed 1 MILLION TIMES. It doesn't matter on clicks, they make NO SENSE!

F AdBrite. They still haven't paid me & I made it in January.

not sure EGS, 1 million of anything sounds like a lot to be making almost nothing.

Maybe you should get some advertisers, I bet you could make lots more with those stats....

or maybe even go with google...I hear that adsense out performs them all anyway...
not really why would out perform another anyway, as the traffic would be the same....

Jeez, $100 for little work, none really other than creating content, sounds good to me. What did you expect?

The good thing is you're getting lots of traffic. One click in a 1000 is typical. Better targeted ads will get more. Your payout will depend on what the advertiser pays, at least in Adsense. Remember, they want to advertise at the lowest possible cost.

full page ads work like this on adbrite, impressions = how many times it's been loaded (including the times it's not even been viewed). clicks = how many times it's been viewed.

so look at the clicks and NOT the impressions. they pay me $5 CPM for one of my websites. full page ads don't show very often so thats why your clicks wont be high within the 1mill views.

can anyone tell me if I can ensure that adbrite ads only appear on certain pages of my website. Want the 300 by 250 one to run on only specific pages not all but unlike google adsense I can't see how you do this? Any suggestions?

anyone know how to ensure that adbrite adverts only appear on specific pages rather than ads running on every single page. With google adsense I choose which pages I want the adverts to run but with adbrite it looks like the ads appear on every single page which I absolutely do not want. Am I wrong, can I choose the pages?

anyone used either of these on uk websites? Not familiar with clicksor...did you find the revenue similar? Or just better because you had more control of the pages the ads appeared on?

i m new in this field and doesnot know much
my site is just 2 months old
is this revenue less? how much i should expect?

OK, you can choose specific pages for your site so very easy to use. I think how much money we make will depend on the type of content your site has. Financial sites will probably make much more than a property website. Also USA ones more than UK ones. Ask me in a week how I'm doing.....but so for happy to try it as we cannot use Google Adsense which would have been the obvious choice. Adbrite has more choice of types of advertsing which I like but seems best if you have heavy traffic websites....ours does so it should make money.....we shall see.

Yeah, adbrite ads look cheap so they don't get the clicks that adsense would get. Pops are annoying but that's the only way to make money with them.

Hmmm, found that if I click on my empty ad adbrite takes me to a page which tells the browser how many page views they believe we receive a day. Not keen at all on this info being released and Alexa which apparently Adbrite use to find the stats, is just a joke, their stats are totally wrong for our site. Anyway, still waiting for an ad to appear and happy that I can choose not to have text links as infolinks just blasted our site even on pages that were carrying adverts from advertisers. If I had a choice I'd stick wtih Google Adsense but so far Adbrite looks the next best option. Just have to see if a European website aimed mostly at UK visitors gets any advertisers which are relevant. Will report back......
