How often you update your estimated clicks for some site.

10 days ago, I have purchase multiple adds on some sites that had your estimated clicks for 0.01.
Your note was that those publishers usually approve adds in few hours or max. one day.

Most of them approved me after 3-4 days, when adds start running, and when I noticed that I dont receive even close visitors as estimates , I have made a look on sites and saw that many of them now have estimates approx 0.05,0.06, and some more than 0.15

For my niche, buying adds with so high CPC is like throwing money, so it would be nice to know how often you update those statistics, so we could track some sites, and see what are the fluctuations

I was very angry with these purchases, and I am afraid I will stop buying adds if these radical samples continue

    Thanks

I use AdBrite over two years, but I think: suck!

They must learn being honest. Often, I can see topics about tehir sucks in DP..

The net 60 is a a deal breaker with me.

Could you show us an example of a typical 30 day investigation process and how the outcome affected the publishers bottom line.

One more question from me :

How do you decide where is the origin of traffic from ?

I have just seen that for my site its United Kingdom and United States.

I have more than 60 % of USA traffic, and UK is on 4th place

I am with almir, site statistics do seem old. I did not get the CPC on many sites I advertised on, very disappointing. Plus, on one of my sites traffic was much lower when I first listed the ad but I have had over 1500 visitors per day for over 45 days now but my listing still says over 720.

Here is a reply to most of the questions stated above. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Our CPC's are updated daily. you may likely see fluctuations based on weekend traffic being slow etc. The cpc's show an average of previous ads run on the Site. One of the beauty's of AdBrite is that you can write very "click happy" ad copy, since you are not paying per click on flat rate ads. As Shoemoney had once pointed out on DP post, if you write great ad copy, you can likely receive more clicks than the estimate on our product pages, if your copy is not as adventurous, you may receive less clicks than expected.

Our new direct CPM purchasing is also beneficial for this, not to mention the great Geo-targeted abilites, etc. I would certainly recommend this as an option for trying sites out with smaller budgets prior to locking in flat rate prices.

The rev share on ads is 70/30 in the publishers favor.

Our origin of traffic is caluculated based on previous traffic to the site. i know there are many new features we are working on with this to make it more comprehensive and transparent, and I will update DP as those roll out.

As far as traffic details on our product pages...uniques and pageviews are calculated by pages where AdBrite code is. So if the code is not ROS, then the traffic details will reflect that. I am more than happy to investigate specific cases where traffic does not seem accurate, so please contact me if needed.

Bunnybling, i will look into an example of fraud to share, so that you can see a little more about how we operate, and work to ensure fair transactions for publishers and advertisers.

    Thanks

    Chris

    Hi Chris !

    Thanks for your answers.

    However, I have one more.

Yesterday, I have earned 2.80 on one of my sites.
    Day before 2.50

When someone click on "Your ad here" on my site, he gets informations that average clicks are 6 / week

There is no chance for that, I know that your clicks are usually 4-6 cents, so I have at least 50 clicks/day, so how your stats show only 6/week ?

There are only 4 different adds that rotating on my site, so average for single add should be at least 10/day or 70/week

    Where is the problem ?

    Almir,

Thanks for the info. From what I noticed in your account the AdBrite ads have not been up very long.. (maybe 4 days or so?). It does take some time for average CPC's etc to show up on your product pages, it is not instant. many advertisers run in our network on your site, and there are also direct CPM ads on the site.

To give you an idea of how things typically work for publishers is that there is a small ramp up period 3-4 weeks where earnings should steadily increase, visibility in our marketplace will increase, and statistics will report accurately.

Don't hesitate to contact me with any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Chris,

I'm designing a site at the moment, and am keen to incorporate Adbrite ads into it, but have not used this system before (I come from an Adsense background). Are you able to clarify what ad types are available and (most importantly) what sizes these ads occupy ?

This info would be useful at design stage for designing blocks on the page where ads will appear, and knowing the size these blocks may occupy, before I actually have live ads displayed.

    Thanks.

    Coyote,

    Thanks for the feedback.

One of the beauties of AdBrite is that the code is very flexible, much more flexible than adsense and YPN. Many of the best performing sites have very creative ad units which are not just ad "blocks". Let me know if you want help customizing any of the code.

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Chris,

Can you give any more info ? Specifically as a web publisher I'm interested in:

    - Does Adbrite support image based ads ?
    - If so what are the block sizes of these ads ?
    - Do the Adbrite T's & C's allow clicked ads to be opened in a new browser window ?

    Thanks

I currently use adbrite ads and to me, I think it is one of the best, if not the best ad companies. I have used others like Clicksor and Google. Google is the best by far but adbrite is a close second.

    Coyote,

We do not currently support image based ads. Our banner program will have our beta roll out shortly, so please sign up and we will be happy to have you test as a publisher or advertiser. There will be a variety of formats, but definitely including typical IAB standard units which you can find most places on the web. And yes you can set the code to have the ads opened in a new browser. If you need help with this or have further questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

    Thanks

    Chris

Yes we are definitely launching those products. We took down the tabs because we have had thousands sign-up and we are testing the products before we make it available to everybody. Thanks for your interest, and I will certainly post as new developments are available.

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Hi Chris.

I just signed up with AdBrite to give it a try. Main reason is that my latest site is pulling in poor selection of AdSense ads. I guess my niche is too niche?

I'll PM you my details so you can take a look at my account and website.
