Hi Everybody, I am familiar with this forum and have browsed here quite a bit. I work at AdBrite and more specifically I work with web publishers to maximize their revenue. I know there are always posts for clarification with AdBrite and Google/YPN, and about our various products. Feel free to contact me with questions, concerns, or if you need any help as a publisher or advertiser in our marketplace. Thanks Chris chrism@adbrite.com AIM cmartellotti
cool staff from adbrite i use adbrite on a few of my sites like minorbox.com great to see adbrite participating in DigitalPoint Forums
hi i have a few questions for adbridte, can i use adbrite on adult content sites?? and does it matter iif most of my traffic is asian??? thanks
even i can answer the first question lol, yea u can use it on adult sites, most adult sites only use adbrite idk bout the asia question.
AVNads.com is a marketplace for Adult sites. Feel free to sign up as a publisher or advertiser of adult content here. AdBrite.com is not a marketplace for adult sites, although somes do sign up, we work to keep the marketplace clear of that content. If your traffic is from Asia that is ok. In general that traffic is not considered as high quality, so I would ensure your pricing reflects a discounted rate to advertisers for your traffic. The beauty is that you can set your pricing however you would like. Thanks
One of the main reasons for net 60 is Fraud protection. We work to make sure every transaction is legitimate, and sometimes these investigations can take more than 30 days. We are working to expand our payment options for publishers, so I will certainly update DP when these updates are made. I am fully aware that many publishers, especially international publishers struggle to cash a US check. Thanks for asking. Chris
ok if you plan to be a big company like google please change to net 30 I think they are handling nicely 2nd I heard you just canceled some publishers without conversing with them first and i would like you to change your policy
Redz and Rapeleg, I appreciate your feedback and that will be noted as we expand and look for ways to help our publishers. Your payments should never be delayed, and you can contact me with more specific questions, or our customer service team to look into individual cases. We never just "cancel" publishers. Obvisouly we have fraud protection in place, but there is typically a thorough explanation of fraud etc. We pride ourselves in being a marketplace where ANYONE can come and buy and sell digital advertising. We are not in the game of discriminating but we want to make it fair for everyone. We are well aware that the ad space for sale in our marketplace is not OUR inventory. It is YOUR inventory, and that is why we offer publishers so many features to control their ad space including pricing, customization of code, and approval or rejection of ads.
Usually it can take 48/72 hours to get listed in the directory. Feel free to AIM me if that doesn't happen. I can make sure to push your site through. Thanks,
I´m with the other guy. You should really have a net 30 payment option and paypal support. That´s the only thing that´s been keeping me from using you.
Well i heard of big websites who got canceled now i dont think the big owner of a big website would click his own ads infact you can see all the complaints on alexa so just have a look So take this guys money away(the bad traffic part) but dont just cancel him The way you should act is every publisher is a saint unless he had realy big problems you shouldnt delete him as this does make publishers scared and becuse you end up paying net 90(becuse of the hold up) alot are scared to use you all we want is to get paid within resonable time thats all
Glad to see Adbrite making an appearance. I love Adbrite, at least for purchasing advertising. I spend a ton over there and feel it is almost always worth it. I do use Adbrite for monetizing sites as well I am in strong agreement on the Paypal option thing. I would especially like the option to pay for ads via paypal. I use paypal as a business bank account to keep track of all transactions. It sucks to have to look for transactions elsewhere. Net 30 would be much better terms for payment as well. BTW congrats on on the Recent ComScore rating.
Thanks thewindmaster Rapeleg, I am familiar with the alexa reviews, everyone is entitled to their opinion. If there are specific cases you feel we unfairly treated a publisher please contact me or have them contact me. I hate to hear that, and I can be sure to clear up a misunderstanding. What I can say is that our business evolved from the small publishers and we value those sites just as much as our large publishers. Two of my personal favorite sites in our marketplace are: makeicecream.com and blogchelsea.com, not sites raking in the $$, but unique, and great targeted audiences. I appreciate all the feedback and your opinions will help create a better user experience at AdBrite.com. Thanks,
Quick question; I purchased advertising on a site, the site rejected my advertisement so now I have $400+ sitting in my account. Can you refund that money back to my credit card? Thanks, -Chris
