    Imagine the extra paper work and currency tracking involved in sending out all those checks to members in all these different countries, then we'd start complaining cos they've had to employ another 20 staff members to sort cheques and charge us more for using them as a ad network.

    I am not fazed a bit - keep sending me US dollars cos the Aussie dollar has finally gone to shit !!

    Perhaps they just don't want to deal with anyone outside the U.S. It'd be so easy for them and convenient for everyone to pay through PayPal.

    For whoever wants to call me a loser could they please at least sign the comment?

    That's basically my complaint, I have no problem with the internet working in USD dollars but I don't like the fact that they refuse either convert it or to use paypal, which will convert it for them.

    Right, i've checked up on what exactly it was that costs the money. The problem is actually not that they are sending checks in US dollars, but more that they are sending it from a none-UK bank. That means my bank has to send it back to the US and the bank in the US then cash it and send it back to me.

    Yeah same here, I've cashed two AdBrite checks so far costing me £20 fee for EACH and one took 5 weeks to cash..
