Adbrite - I paid them $210, seems like they try to screw me!

I paid $210 and almost 2 weeks later the ad is still pending approval by publisher. Seems like this publisher is sleeping. Is there a chance to get this money back? I sent Adbrite an email, but no reply. Last chance will be for me to charge back this amount. BEWARE!!

Your money is still in your AdBrite account. It does not get deducted until the ad actually runs. I would keep trying to get in touch with their support team. They should be able to help you out. Good luck.

You can't contact them, they don't answer eMails. People should really think twice before doing business with them!

Hi - I'd have to agree with that... There customer service is poor. I've tried e-mailing them a couple of times and had no response!

Does anyone know how to cancel ads whilst they are still in "Pending Review" on Adbrite?

    Regards, Tom

you-cubez: As far as I know you can't cancel them, I tried it too. Their interface is pure shit.

Smells to me like the next big SCAM.

email support does suck.i'm thinking their not answering any of the emails.
i've been told once that if the ad is not approved in a week, they approve the ad for the publisher.(that may not be automated though)
you need to call them to review the ad or credit your account.

AdBrite is not a scam. If you have a problem I suggest you call their support number.

hahahahaha those people are just idiots - no idea on how things work...the first dipstick bought an interstal advert for his candle shop on a website thats a sex site because it had the lowet PPC rate - and he's bitching because he made no sales... well duh.

second guy crys because he put his website in the run of the mill ad list and he's getting some click fraud from chinese websites... well duh, its china traffic.

set your campaign up properly, exclude the random coutries and you'll be fine. i use adbrite a lot and with a well setup camapign you have no dramas.

    I agree ...

Ask for a chargeback ... you paid for the service, you waited, no one ansvers to your questions ... you have the right to get your money back!

If they were asleep this will be a school for them :D

Maybe spending $210 at the first place (if it's your first time) is not that smart after all.
I began with 1 buck and see. Worst case scenario, I lose 1 buck.
    If it's fine, I go 2, 5, 10...
So far, my adbrite stuff is ok, not great but ok...I mean...for 1 buck, can't expect selling thousands...

For trusted advertisers they should have some sort of automatic approval. It is not acceptable to wait 3 or 4 weeks for publisher approval. This is a JOKE.
