Interads full page would be an eyesore for my visitors. Going to try interads for today. Lets see how much I make, and lets see if it dents my visitor stats.
I've configured Interads to appear after two pages views, if you have many pages views per visitors, you can set it to appear after three/four pages, so for the users is not disturbing.
Adsense is always the best solution, but not allow adult website and in this case Abrite is a valid alternative.
Well thank god the week is over.... a colossal waste of time and potential money.. out of the whole week and hundreds of thousands of impressions Adbrite generated about $10. Now i'm testing Bidvertiser combined with Chitika Premium.. Chitika premium displays for all SE traffic, and made about $6 yesterday.. Bidvertiser is showing for direct traffic and is not doing much better than Adbrite so far.. All along, Kontera has been generating $50-$75/day ..
I would say Adbrite is OK if you loose your Adsense account but you must have that vital ingredient Traffic and can work on some sites better than others but the biggest waste of space is Bidvertiser as revenue is total cr@p once again some site owners may find that Bidvertiser works for them.I may well have a look at Kontera as that sounds a big possibilty.
I have to absolutely disagree with most of what has been said here. I've been using Adbrite since March 08 and I've roughly pulled in $5k from them in that period. The key is to use the Full Page Ads correctly, otherwise using Adbrite is not worthwhile.
Bidvertiser pays good if you have a finance website. adbrite i have no luck with as far as earnings wise, but adsense banned me over bullshit, so i have no choice.
Yea, like others have said, Adbrite's full page ads are the only ones worth using in my opinion. They'll get you quite a bit of money. Adbrite's CPM and Text ads though aren't really worth using, you won't make much off of them.
Adbrite isn't bad for me. My Adsense earnings dropped by 50% starting in August, so I was forced to find some other stream of revenue to kinda balance it out. I starting showing adbrite ads on my site at the beginning of November and I admit the earnings trickled in at maybe $0.50-0.75 a day for the first week and a half, even after receiving tens of thousands of views. I pulled them from my site after getting frustrated, but added them back a week later to see if maybe things would pick up. I started rejecting CPC ads and only showing CPM banners, and earnings slowly got better, and now I'm making about $8-18 a day from them... Which definitely isn't bad. The last couple of days have been awesome, making about $40 a day from Adbrite CPM banners alone... no idea if it'll keep up, but TBH that's more than I've made most days from Google since August.
Update! DONT USE ADBRITE! GO WITH ADSENSE I'm using adbrite on a new site that I'm questionsing some of the stuff compared to adsense terms. On another site I'm getting up to $3 per click, while on adbrite I got $0.68 with 10 clicks
man I get about 1,767,207 (Almost 2 Million) "Ad-zone" views in the last 7 days with adbrite and got only $120. But it exactly the opposite for me, my Adsense earnings are dismal compared to the display advertising. Yes I use more then just adbrite. You want to use 2 or 3 different display adveritsing networks on the same page.
