its not illegal for adbrite to show ads on warez sites. what law is broken??? none.

should they allow the ads to be shown there? most people would say no....you can file a complaint with them and they who knows maybe they will take action. i've heard they have stopped serving ads to torrent sites....

Unfortunately adbrite doesn't always have control over where their ads show up, or what types of sites utilize their servicing. Each adbrite publisher must approve ads and advertisers one by one so it's not really adbrite but the loose gateway they offer to both advertisers and publishers, whom in turn deal with eachother directly without the aid of adbrites approval/denial with the exception of filtering new publishers (who can change their operations easily once they are approved).

Adbrite took actions at least for PTR sites few months ago.
They won't serve ads there (but i bet because of poor traffic).
Who knows maybe they will forbid on warez too,
But we all know golden rule - money talks!
If they happy with traffic, why they should forbit that, if advertisers are happy?
    Welcome to real world ;(

    Who cares?

The sites arent illegal if the owners know where to host them ect, so AdBrite are not breaking any laws.

porn sites can use adbrite too. Advertisers can specifically advertise on those sites or specifically exclude those sites.

Porn sites have their rights too :) Why to exclude them while so many people use them.
