Hey, when I first started using Adbrite last week I was getting 0.15c to 0.25c CPM but now I'm getting 0.03c to 0.06c CPM. Why the sudden drop? Anyone else experienced this sort of thing?
Adbrite is like this when u are using it ur whole traffic sees new ads and better converts but later on the value of traffic decreases because of returning traffic
It's just very dissapointing to be going from $15-$25 per day to $5-$8 per day in such a short space of time. Alas, because of the nature of my sites CPM is the best way for me to make revenue as the CTR isn't very high.
Why dont u like try other cpm networks i know adbrite is a decent cpm but there are some cpms too.. some are tough to get in
I am on AdsDaq but they rejected my busiest site based on high graphical content, they are rejecting it because I post lots of videos
Oh and another thing, the ads aren't very targetted, I mostly get weight loss ads, my site is mostly geared towards mens things so why is adbrite firing me white teeth and weight loss ads? Adsense had some nice targetted ads but again like I say the CTR from my sites is never going to be high and I need a CPM network.
Why will the CTR never be high for your site? I personally would suspend your account if you gave me anything less than a 1% CTR. You have to considered that the advertiser is more important than any publisher after all they are what makes it possible to run ads on your site, and it is a privilege not a right to be part of a publishers network. I wish you the best, and you should try to optimize your site for a higher CTR. You can't expect any network to keep you on if you don't provide at least a decent CTR
