AdBrite is a PPC advertising service (kind of).

AdBrite allows advertisers to buy ads directly on listed sites. The publisher (webmaster) can set the price for these directly puchased ads or pricing can be done automatically by the system.

Publishers can choose to display network ads when no-one has purchased their ad space directly. These network ads look very similar to AdSense and work in a similar fashion - payment is received every time a visitor clicks an ad. Unlike AdSense these network ads aren't really contextual - this means they don't always reflect the content of the page on which they are displayed. Network ads appear within a few hours of the code being implemented, but they aren't always reliable and some days they don't show at all.

AdBrite also offer interstitial ads and inline ads. Interstitial ads appear as a temporary frame over the top of the web page asking visitors to view the advertised site - the publisher receives a payment every time a visitor does this. Inline ads appear as underlined words in the text content. When a mouse pointer is scrolled over an inline ad a small pop-up box appears with an ad inside - the publisher receives payment every time one of these small pop-ups is clicked.

    AdBrite pay by check.

For the record... I have had more success with AdBrite than any other ppc search engine out there, including Google and Yahoo.

I use AdBrite a lot, but I have many tricks to actually make money with it. The traffic that I get that clicks the most is traffic from AdBrite. So, you have to spend money with AdBrite and buy some advertising to make money using their network ads. At least it works best that way with me. I have made money with them, but have yet to see a check. Their customer service REALLY sucks, so I am very worried that I won't receive a check from them. I would still agree though that its easier to make money with them that it is from adsense...

They're okay in my experience. The ads pay less per click on average, but it's still possible to get lots of 20-50 cent clicks. Also attractive are the inline ads they offer - attract quite a good CTR compared to conventional units.

Why I get only Advertise here ads only? I see on stats about 20000 hits with no $ Is there any trick or something I am not doing right? I wanted to try adbrite and only placed a 468x60 banner.

i think they have to approve each zone.it may take a week to get a good rotation of ads to show.
my last zone that i made only shows a work at home ad,surprising it has gotten 3 clicks.

Advertise on this site is only displayed the past 5 days, 0$ and some clicks.

Do you receive any message that they approve your zone?

Its been 3 days I have setup the zone, not a single ad except "Advertize on this site" shit. Never knew they have to approve each zone. It wasn't like this before 3 or 4 months.

If it is taking that long for ads to show up, you may want to call them. I have 3 sites showing ads and it NEVER took that long for ads to start showing. Anytime it took more than an hour for them to show up I would try 2 things: I would add more tags to my ad zone and I would erase and readd the adbrite code to the site in question. Those usually worked for me!
