Adbrite - Advertisers ads slow to load on page, anyone else got this?

Just within the last month checking on my sites and noticed that the advertisers ads are slow to load and sometimes don't load at all.

Could be a small bug or that since I'm viewing the sites at non-US times could be down for maintenance?

    Anyone else got this?

Also found that I can't buy ads from the site also...

Yes I experience this sometimes too. But they are far from worst on this matter. Clicksor is way more worse. Heck, even Chitika is worse (atleast for me). :p

Why is Clicksor worse? I was just going to transfer over to them or perhaps Searchfeeds...

They pay less than AdBrite, their ads loads slow, they have few ads, their contextual program sin't working and you have to wait until you get $50 before you get your payment.

Is the adbrite/avnads site working for you? I haven't been able to see it for days.

Is there someone I can write to at Adbrite to report this (perhaps it's my location?)

adbrite isn't crap. anyway, contact your rep and ask them what tech changes have occured. i know for a fact they upgraded their servers, i think on Feb 1st or Feb 2nd. a lot of the bigger changes fall in line with my ads not showing impressions (advertiser side).

Adbrite Javascripts are slow and not as Google ad code. I had this same issue and site loads very very slowly after placing two to three ad codes of Adbrite. This issue occurs occasionally and we cannot always monitor the sites and pages. Users will surely close the site if the ad causes the slowness.

I have contacted the Adbrite representative and he did'nt experience the issue while checking and said that the site loads normal.

Reduce the ads maximum of 2 Adcodes in a page while using Adbrite code. This is the best solution I found.

I don't find adbrite trustworthy at all. I been an advertiser with them a couple times and their traffic quality was really bad. I don't think they really filter out bad traffic. This is the sad thing with big companies, after a while they get disorganized and careless

Seems you are from Hong Kong?
Yes, Adbrite ads take few seconds to load via most Hong Kong ISPs.

You may use some JavaScript tricks to delay the display of ads.
I am using this method on my site too. But I am not sure if I can post it here.
