Hello, I've been using Adbrite ads for about several months on my blogger blog without issues. I used adbrite's full page, inline, CPM text/banner and CPC text/banner ads (all network ads for the past 3 months). On the 31st of December 2008 my site began to display the warning "Reported Attack Site" for anyone who used firefox browser to visit it. In addition, all my Google search results were listed along with "This site may harm your computer" line. I never intentionally put any malicious code and the site was hosted on blogspot.com so the chances of it getting hacked were remote. Nevertheless i completely checked the template and HTML and found nothing out of the ordinary. The only custom javascript i had running on the site at that moment was Adbrite ads. So i removed the adbrite ads and sent a review request to google and now the warning has been removed. I saw two more people reporting similar issues both on blogger support forums and on google webmaster forums - they were all using adbrite ads. My question is that has any of you had similar experiences? What must i do before i put adbrite ads back on my site? And are full page ads (interstitial) considered as badware or adware? Thanks in advance for the help.
No i never used any alternative ad code. But i did have the full page ad load in two mouse clicks (which is a legitimate adbrite setting). Have you been using full page ads on your site too? thx
Has anyone else had similar problems? I'm thinking of putting adbrite back on the site if this is not a regular thing. What do you think?
Thanks for the responses. But have any of you guys been using inline and full page ads (Network ads) set to auto approve? or do you manually approve each and every ad?
i am using both full page and inline ads without any issues i must agree most of my income is from full page ads,i select ads all ads manually ,its time consuming but i prefer it
Thanks for sharing your experience. Anyone here have got the ads set to auto approve and had problems with it?
