If anyone else is using the Adbrite publisher side, please help me try to figure this out - The scenario is that I have been with Adbrite for about 2 weeks now and I have noticed a very steep discrepancy in the total click count listed on the zone stats versus the click report. For instance, when I view my zone stats it might say 100 clicks in the Todays Clicks column, but when I click to view the click report, it might say only 40 clicks. Now I know that both reports are delayed from one another but there are periods that they mirror each other. You can tell if both stats pages are updated to the same point by if they list the same number of pageviews. Anyway, I have been consistently seeing a 50-60% discrepancy in the click counts, so I emailed their support and asked about the reasoning. I got a reply back that said the zone stats count the clicks that come in through the 'Your Ad Here' link, but since those aren't paid clicks, they are not included on the click report. That was the only explanation that I got and it would make perfect since if the discrepancies weren't so huge. I have a very hard time believing that 60% of all clicks that come from my site every day are simply people clicking the 'Your Ad Here' link. I should also mention that nobody has actually purchased links on my site through Abrite yet. Has anybody else experienced this same issue?
