    Hi All,

As many of you know I have had many posts on here previously discussing AdBrite and trying to help everyone be successful as either an avertiser or publisher.

Some of the new features of our new interface (which is available to demo on adbrite.com) are as follows.

    1) We have banners (image ads) and standard IAB units available now to publishers, so feel free to sign up and we will have your site in a channel ASAP and receiving ads.

    2) We have a brand new advertiser interface and buying process which allows for many more targeting features for advertisers including demographic, and geographic targeting.

    3) We have rolled out a reserve pricing feature which will allow publishers to work with your traditional networks and we will only show AdBrite ads when we have beat your chosen CPM rate.

We are excited to offer these new features and hope it will be very successful for advertisers and also make publisher more money. We will have some more new products and features in the upcoming weeks, and I look forward to introducing everyone to these exciting new products.

Here are a couple of news articles which desribe these features in further detail.

    Thanks,

    Chris,

I've used adbrite on and off for a few months now. My biggest concern is the data that is displayed for the publishers. It is very common to find pages without PR and Alexa ratings of 4,600,000+ with claims they are getting 1K unique visitors a day and 3K pageviews a day. I'm looking at one now. 3700 pv, 1900 uniques, Alexa 3million and Google PR1. I just can't believe that for the site shown. Where do those statistic come from?

I'm looking at purchasing more monthly contracts, but don't want to get burned with bad data.

    thanks,

    NSMChris,

Send me an email and i can certainly point you in the right direction. (chrism@adbrite.com). For everybody else, the statistics are typically from the previous day meaning pageviews, uniques, etc. The CPC rates are calculated based on how previous advertisements have performed.

Sometimes it can be a bit confusing if a publisher creates their own "mini-network" where perhaps they have 10 sites that are 1MM alexa rank, and put the same ad "zone" across the network. Combined all of their sites could possibly get that kind of traffic. This is not extremely common but is usually described in the description of the site.

Our mission is to be a complete transparent marketplace so obviously correct statistics are at the core of that. I am happy to look into specific details of any concerns anybody might have.

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Hey Chris,

I've been looking for AdSense alternatives for sometime now and both AdBrite and Clicksor have been recommended. Now that I know you have geographical ads I'm going to sign up and give it AdBrite a go.

My uniques are really starting to climb now so I've got to make the most of it :)

    Cheers, pondlife.

    Hey Chris,
I have been using adbrite for last 5 months and received first payment last month. But my earning reduced to $20 to $4. My traffic source is basically India. I have mailed my concern to support but havent got any reply. Do you think that Asian traffic is not worth in ur network or something else behind that ?

I'm now using AdBrite and I'm making a few cents. I've currently only got ads on a few pages but I'm going to expand this across the site - as soon as I've sorted out the formatting issues :)

I was gonna signup, till a saw the small amount of revenue they would shave (30%) is much to steep. Its equates to being taxed twice on your earnings. :)

Do the search engines consider an adbrite ad to be a text link from the advertiser's site to mine?

No PR Link juice exchanged through our ads. They are redirected through JavaScript. For hard-coded links check out text-link-ads.com
