If i install adblock plus, do i violate adsense TOS? Its one of the add ons I love! but i worry about my adsense account. I might get banned.

I can't see any reason for you to get banned

If anyting it will stop you from getting banned fro accidental clicks.

I've been using Adblock for ages and think its great. I also think it helps to keep my impressions down when im developing the site, therefore my clickthrough rate is higher.

Hopefully, more people won't find out about it though.

As Dukeboxx said, Adblock is only going to work in your favour. Firstly, because it will prevent you from clicking on your own ads, and that is of vital importance. Secondly, it will prevent you from clicking on the ads of other publishers, and that is also important because you never know whose ads you are clicking on - if you should happen to click on the ads of somebody who is on the verge of being banned, then when Google scrutinise their database and look closely at the click sources associated with the banned account, well your IP address and your cookies would then be linked to that account - and that is something you don't want, eh.

I run Adblock permanently. I disable it occasionally if I want to look at an ad layout but I don't ever click, and as soon as I'm done looking at the layout then Adblock gets enabled again. That isn't paranoia - it's just plain old-fashioned commonsense, and a sensible business precaution.

Now that is good information - and logically sound.

Although sometimes, adBlock ruins some site's actual intended layout. (you get lots of whitespaces) Secondly, it limits on how other webmaster's opportunities to earn, which is by far annoying to them and sometimes to us.

Its good for us, its bad for our audience. Tech savvy people already use ad blockers, my firewall has a built in one as do some browsers.
But for web developers its a nice idea at times when you dont want to risk clicking your own ads.
