Hey guys did you realise that some words such as 'b a nners' and 'ad brite' don't appear if you've adblock turned on? I've disabled them for DP, but I still find it irritating :/

    No.
It can only block an element surrounding them.

Shawns mentioned in several threads in this section that if you have an adblocker turned on the words attached to the inline contextual ads disappear.

Nothing can be done to change that on the admin side except removing the ads, which doesnt seem to be the plan. Choice is in the users hands to turn off adblock for this site or become accustomed to losing words in sentences. On the bright side the way some of the guys here write it wouldnt make them any less readable. :)

If a user installs ad blocking software, not sure why it would be surprising when an ad is blocked. :)

I've a actually thought about blocking ad block software from working... Not because I'm opposed to it, but because it doesn't actually work right, and blocks some things that are not ads and then it becomes a waste of tine trying to support people on parts of the site that don't work.

Yeah I have this problem and was baffled until Shawn informed me about it. I thought I was going mad, missing words out of every paragraph :D
