Coming to this website, and seeing this thread showing up as the last thread posted in has made me jump on several occasions now. Its been so long since the last update, cant this thread be closed? :) A new one can be opened next time there is an update, if there is ever a reason for one.

I'm wondering if some failover code in the script would be helpful. The server hosting my sites was being attacked yesterday and messed up email, but it somehow affected the ads on my site. It caused an endless loop which crashed my browser. If I turned off the ads, the page would load ok.

Here's the error I saw:Warning: file_get_contents(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known in /home/x/public_html/ad_network.php on line 41. line 41 being the file_get_contents line. I do have the latest scipt file on the site. This happened for multiple sites that were on the same web server.

I'm thinking it would be good for the script to exit upon error. This error caused my site to be completely down while ads were active.

    Thanks

There is no looping code that would cause it to be called more than once.
