Ad Units (Amount allowed?)

    Alright, Adsense says you can have up to 3 Image Units and 3 Text Units on any page.

    My question is: Do they mean combined? Or, do they actually mean AND?

    Yes, You can put only 3 publisher ads (text or image) and

    2 search boxes and three referrals

    Three links units

    Google adsense policy says
    # Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page.
    # A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
    # Up to three link units may also be placed on each page.
    # Up to three referral units may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above.

    Even if you try to put more than 3 Ad Units, they won't display any ads. Try it...

    yup they mean AND...
    You can have those 6 ad units at the same time.

    You can put

    3 ad units + 3 link units + 3 referrals + 2 search boxes

    All in one page.
