Ad tracker of choice? What's your opinion

So I'm FINALLY figuring out that I can't manage all this stuff in my head and I really want to start tracking ROI on campaigns as well as little tidbits of information that I just can't get with the normal settings within Adwords, Yahoo! and MSN AdCenter.

What is the PPC campaign tracking application of choice? I have no preference to desktop or online, as long as you've had good success with a certain application.

    So please...what are your suggestions?

I've found Conversion Analyst to be a good package for tracking ROI, etc. I've also found WebTrends to be pretty comprehensive, and Omniture is extremely detailed (but more expensive). In general, I find that you get what you pay for, and it depends on how much info you need, and how big your sites are.

I am still using excel spreadsheets to track my performance. I simply created a simple program that will track both which ad groups sent the traffic and which ones convert. Then it is as simple as creating a macro to run the reports.

You don't need to spend a whole lot of money... just use your brain a bit and come up with some creative solutions.
