Hi Everybody, A couple of weeks ago we attended Ad:Tech Miami, and it was a very interesting show. It was very targeted to the Hispanic Market, but Google was also there to throw in some Universal Material. The most shocking statement from Ad:Tech Miami was that by 2013 Online advertising is going to be bigger than Radio and Television! Overall I thought the show was very good, well organized and great speakers. For those of you that have not been there, we did a 24 minute video report of the show, which you can check out here: http://www.affiliatesupportteam.com/blog/2008/06/ad-tech-miami-2008/ For those of you that have been at the show. What did you think of the show, and how are you currently performing in the Hispanic Market ?
I can believe it. I would really like to attend one of these expos, but being a full time college student it's hard for me.
Well most people pay the most for traveling we flew in from Amterdam: 2 people first class extra luggage for the camera's etc hotel car rental That's the stuff that hurts But you know what; I haven't been on any business trip that didn't pay itself off. However I do agree with you that conference passes are relatively high and I really feel that there should be a student discount or something. I will pop this idea sometime soon Anyway, next month we're going to give away 2 conference passes for Affiliate Summit Social Media, so stay tuned
It IS huge. We currently have two campaigns which we translated to spanish, and they are profitable. Not huge, but they deliver around $350 a day daily profit. This is a huge market opportunity.. I wrote down some tips on converting you campaigns to hispanic campaigns here, as well as some tips from the Google staff: http://www.affiliatesupportteam.com/blog/2008/06/adwords-tips-for-hispanic-campaigns/ How are you currently performing in latin america ?
