Hi - question for you. Ever since I started working with AW I have noticed some idiosyncrasies in the way my campaigns spend. I have attached a list describing a common scenario that I see regularly. It seems that, 'apples to apples', when I upload campaigns (content only), only a small percentage of adgroups spend. Total campaign spend usually comes in at about half of what my budget will allow so campaigns never come close to hitting budgets and any adgroup that is receiving impressions has good CTR (.25-1%) . I am constantly raising bids on adgroups that never receive any impressions and write new ads (or pause) adgroups that recieve lots of impressions but no clicks. So I guess my question(s) are 1. What are some logical reasons for this 2. How can I get all adgroups to spend Thanks in advance! James
getting kw's to spend is purely based on search volume...If I want the kw "credit cards" to spend, I could spend 1000's in a day because of the search volume...if I bid on "plumbing for small one bedroom apartments" then I will be struggling to even spend $1. Simply because there are sooooo many people typing credit cards in google each day and clicking on ads...hence I spend more...not so many people searching for the latter.
