i want to know how google evaluate my QS,it is related to my bid, landing page,ad and keyword.right? i have done adword over 1 month ,and my clicks is 2695,but only 2 conversions.does it mean my keyword is not specific to attract traget customers. the last question,i always change my keyword,ad text and compagine, does it affect my conversions?
Interesting question. Firstly, you can find out all about Google AdWord's quality score by visiting https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=10215&query=quality+score&topic=&type=f&%20onclick= I suggest though that you need to think about the following as quality score does not appear to be the issue here . You mentioned your campaign has had 2695 clicks, with only 2 conversions. This is certainly a very low conversion rate of about 0.07%. Is some instances that will be profitable depending on the cost per click and the price of the product you are selling, but for a standard ebook type product it would definitely be a loser. If not done already, you should consider testing a number of variables to see if you can increase your conversions. For eg. If using a conventional 'sales page' you could test different product prices, different website headings, different opening 2 or 3 paragraphs of your sales page, different bonuses, your PS at the end of the sales letter, your testimonials, your guarantee. Of course, only ever test one variable at a time, otherwise you won't know what change caused change to your stats. In many instances, proper testing and diligent tracking of some of these variables can turn a losing product into a 'winning' product. Also, it would be wise to review your adwords campaign and ensure your keywords are relevant. Try using what you consider the 'best' keywords using 'exact' and 'phrase' match only. Hopefully your have done your niche and keyword research in the beginning. There is no doubt, that some keywords will get traffic but will not convert. The Gold is in finding which keywords will convert well. If you are collecting optins on your site, (if you aren’t consider it), you could think about sending a short survey to those on your email list to findout what they are looking for. It could be that your product is not what they are looking for. Let them tell you what they want. Hope that helps. Good luck. Anthony Buchalka
