look below your post here. those ads are adsense, it's ads placed on your website that display advertisors based upon what the page is about. It's "smart" advertising and webmasters get paid for putting those ads on their site.

AdSense is basically google giving you some money to put ads on your site.
You choose where the ads will go and google uses some algorithm to choose what ads will be displayed.
But you only get paid if someone actually click on the ad been displayed.

There are some very stringent rules to follow, but most of them are common sense really. Like "don't click on Ads yourself".

Have a look at the tour made by google themselves about AdSense,

Not entirely true. You do get a small payment per 1000 ad impressions on your site. Don't ask me how much because it's a mystery to me but it not very much for impressions V clicks.

wrong. you get paid for impressions ONLY if some advertiser selected your site to advertise on. if noone has selected your site, you just get paid for clicks.

For a basic overview of AdSense, please read the articles I recently published about AdSense on InformIT.com, it should answer your most basic questions. Then go over to the official AdSense site and read through the help.

I don't think so. I am getting the Ad revenue even if no body clicks on my ads. and I don't think advertiser have choosen my site to give eCPM share.
