Hi... I'm kinda new to the adsense thing. Currently I am using openX to be my adserver and at the moment I am just running adsense. We have 2 sites up now but we will be bringing up about 10 in the next month or two. So I have a question reguarding things. Currently I have been making a new ad unit for each space on my website i wish to post an ad. But this seems like in a few weeks would make it very difficult to edit or look at any specific unit. I am also not sure if this is the correct way to do it. Lets say I have 3 ad units of the same size on a page do I create one unique unit for each block or do I create only one and use it multiple times? I guess the question also is in openX should I create 1 size zone and use the same google code in the zone. Or should i create multiple same size zones and unique adsense ad's....
I think you should use the same ad unit(s) in different pages as long as you do not want to track earnings separately for two different pages. Creating one ad unit for multiple pages will reduce the time and effort required to make the ad units. And it will be easy to edit ad units.
