ad relevance

    Hi all,

Why are YPN ads low on relevancy? Is it because they need to improve their scripts? or do you think its because they simply don't have enough advertisers in every niche?

I feel it is more likely the latter - which could also be why its not out of beta. If you don't have the advertisers you simply can't launch.

I wish they would get some more. My music sites get adverts for CD cases above all else. Who buys CD cases? Its almost as if they put those in knowing full well no one will EVER click on them......

I don't think it's a lack of advertisers. More along the lines of a not so smart script.

The script is still being fine tuned.

I dont think they have as many advertisers as they would like, especially in some niche areas.

Yeah I've tried it on 3 sites of mine and the ads are terrible. I don't know who would click them so I went back to adsense.

Yes I agree. Its because of lack of good relevancy detection algorithm. You should also consider that its in Beta and not available all over the world but just a test phase to specific area.
