Ad Positioning (which Is Best?)

So I heard that Adsense only allows a maximum of 3 ads per page (correct me if I'm wrong) and so I need to get rid of one of the ads on my post page.

Which one of the three with black lines should I get rid of? The bottom of my post uses Disqus so all of that white space you see will probably be filled with comments I hope.[IMG]

Any suggestions would be nice! From left to right, ad #1, ad #2, ad #3 (at the bottom right)

Which one should I take out for now?

You should do your own testing.. Put some adsense ads and let it for a week or so then analyse CTR for each placement.
That's how we all do it when we're serious about optimising ad placement.

I'll tell you from years of blogging experience - keep the uppermost 3 ads..higher up on the page is always better. The bottom right of the page is the least viewed (and least clicked) area. good luck.

Interesting ninjamtlt1. I have just changed my ads from top right of my blog posts to the bottom of my posts as one of my tactics to help improve my rank.

I read in a SEO report that Google does not like ads above the fold. I don't know how true that is.
I will be watching my CTR.

Use atleast 2 ads on Homepage.

ON post. You can add 3 ads. That's better. Try to use 300X250 / 728X90 ads.
