    hi friends, i guess many of you would have done this before. So please tell me how to do it.

    Now the thing is that, in my blog i have got 3 content ads at different locations.
    1 Banner
    1 Wide Skyscraper
    1 Rec. Box.
    Is there any way to know which ad(out of the 3) did the user click. It will help me learn about places on the page where the reader generally clicks.

    I tried making three different channels for the three ads, but that won't work.
    The channels show the same Page Impressions & earnings.

    Do reply, if you know a method of doing this.
    Thanks for your time :)

    You right originally. It is done with channels.

    1. Create the channel.
    2. Update the ad codes with the proper google_ad_channel value.

    If you are getting the same data for the ad channels, recheck your on-page ad code.

    Thanks for the reply.
    Well i did the same thing but it is not working. I checked the google_ad_channel value in my ads & all have different numbers.

    The Values for my three ads are :

    google_ad_channel="X"
    google_ad_channel="X+Y"
    google_ad_channel="X+Y+Z"
    where X,Y and Z are 10 digits numbers.

    Can anyone suggest me why is it so.

    Login to you adsense, Choose the format that you like, choose the colors, choose a UNIQUE channel name or add a new one, copy and paste the code in your html pages. Don't modify the generated code yourself.

    As written in my previous post .... I had choosen 3 different channels as you have said. I checked my adsense codes as well, and the value of google_ad_channel is different in all the three.(See my previous post in this thread).

    It still isin't working for me.
    Maybe i will do the entire thing again.

    Well, All's right now. I got the error i had made. I forgot to remove the previous channel's, and kept on adding new channels. By default Adsense autoselects the previous channel. That's why it was showing "X+Y+Z" in the google_ad_channel value.
