Ad placement on a photoshop tutorial site

    I recently launched my site, a photoshop tutorial website.
    My CTR is kinda low for it...most of the clicks I get are on upper link unit that rests right below the navigation menu, but these clicks are worth barely anything.
    I have a text ad unit in the sidebar as well as in the tutorials, the CPC is much better, but they dont get clicked much. I thought the blending I did was pretty good...but maybe I missed something?
    Any thoughts/ideas?

    Try placing bix box ad below the first "photoshopandyou"

    Nice looking blog. I would mix in some horizontal banner style ads on the page though you can only have 2 more ad blocks on the page.
