Ad placement does matter

Yesterday, I changed ad placements on my blog, and I already saw a difference. I placed an ad block among the text/content, and I already got 3 clicks from this. I had this same block in the sidebar before and only got 4 or 5 clicks in 2 months. I got 3 clicks in 1 day, although they were not worth a lot as they made me less than a dollar. I knew that ad placement did matter, but was not expecting such a major change.

 

agreed I always find an advert square above a text block works much better than a sidebar placement

 

sure ad placement has a role in what you earn from adsense , try to but in side bar , between text , and above read more button or above download button for example

Yeah, I agree with the other posts. Probably something to add, what's a great ad placement for one site/niche may not be the best one for another. It depends on your visitors so just observe and make tweaks here and there until you get the best possible placement.
