do you think google want's us to bend the rules?

i know they appear to be very strict with ad placement and such, but if they wanted our ads to stick out and not be able to blend, then why would they give us the option of being able to change link text & background color?

imagine how much less succesful AdSense would be without those options..yet they would be protecting Adwords users more, correct?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but since when changing colors of Adsense Ads means bending the rules?

How would they be protecting the "adwords users" more if they only allowed us to use the blue/green ad? I really don't understand what you mean with this post.

I am also totally confused by the post. They (Google) wants us to blend the ad but not bend the rules.
