Ad Placement/Blending

So I started a new file hosting site, I only have 1 ad unit but it is on all pages. It randomly does about 4 colors. Where else could I put these, or blend them in better?

google has lots of information about popular/successful ad formats and a heat map where most clicks occur
a careful study of this original google help certainly is beneficial for all

 

You will need to have more content... the ads are not relevant at all currently. Try to add one paragraph on the service you provide on the home page. That should help Google to identify relevant ads.

 

Ya, the content is lacking. But the placement is off tha heezy (which means awesome)

 

I like the placing very much.

 

Ad placement and blending are important but way down the list in importance after traffic, content, and ad relevance. Use your time to focus on the important things first.

 

Ok, I added a small informational section right after the last ad, hopefully that will make them more relevent. Thank you for your comments on the placement. Any more ideas, right now I am working on traffic.
