i was wondering how people were doing with the new ad layouts. Many of us were excited when the change actually happened but i havent heard anything regarding how these are performing in comparison to before. to get the thought started, here is one of my experiences and opinions. would love to know what others are seeing and or thinking. since the change, where 728x90's went from 4 ads to 3 ads, i have seen a reduction in the performance of this ad block. it seems that if the actual ad doesnt have enough letters in the title and or description, the whole ad block looks lopsided with large gaps between 2 ads and 2 of the ads appearing more to one side, leaving the other kind of like standing alone. also, i have noticed that if the ad title has too many words, it continues the title to the next line. when there is only 1 ad out of the 3 that do this, the whole ad block looks uneven and heavy on 1 side. another thing i have noticed is that if the description has too many words, the line actually runs into the next ad unit kinda making it look like a sentence that is continuing on. not that i even remember what the old 4 block looks like anymore, or that these specific issues are causing a reduction in my personal performance with this ad block, but these are my observations. currently i try to avoid using this ad type. this used to be a top performing ad block... now it is not... at least for me. thanks to all who share and reply
