I've had a Google AdWords account for around 2 years now. Recently I decided to go ahead and take the steps to become Google certified, and created a seperate account in MCC to get it going. The campaigns I have been running in the original account do very well, good quality scores, and nice CTR. I noticed something odd however when I would edit some campaign settings through MCC. I don't know if it is just by coincidence, or what, but I've noticed that if I edit some settings for the original account through MCC, or even just pause and unpause campaigns through the MCC, the campaigns won't perform as well overall for that day. Less impressions, lower CTR, etc. Has anyone else experienced this? Does the MCC really affect the performance of those campaigns your are managing if your MCC account is newer? Or is it just by coincidence that on that day the campaigns would be performing low anyway? Any help on this would be great
I have an older MCC account (so it might work differently...) but from my understanding its only the individual accounts history that is taken into account...so your MCCs account history shouldn't matter at all.
