As I've posted before, I run a website that creates different internet TV shows via Brightcove -- each season's videos are put into one video player and put next to a banner. A lot of visits end up being 30minutes+ to the same page, but of course AdSense (who the site current uses) doesn't allow refreshes, so it's the same banner the entire duration. This is really bad (although eCPM is still over a dollar, it could be a lot higher). I've contacted AdBrite and BidVertiser about allowing me to refresh it with JS, but no responses yet. TribalFusion I'm sure wouldn't either... but I'm not positive on this yet either. CPM obviously won't work in this situation. Any ad networks that DO allow this? Any information would be great, because I can't seem to find a solution here, but I'm not ripping each video on it's own page -- I refuse to give up on this. How it's setup now is very ideal for the user, and that's how it should be. Thanks all.
I can't see any of the larger networks allowing this and the smaller networks that us the larger networks to feed their ads for publishers would be breaking TOS if they allowed it. So I can't think of any sorry.
Well there is sites that run CPM ads in the refresh format so it is a possibility. I can't remember the URLs but my guess is they were huge sites that worked out a deal.
I found this site: http://allsp.com/ that does do it with AJAX (below the videos)... it seems to use Microsoft + AdBrite. I'm not quite sure what's going on with it atm.
