    Hi,

    I asked this aaaaages ago and nobody had a stable way of doing it at the time but wondered if anybody has since found a way of doing it.

    I'm trying to get the ads on an invision forum.

    Anybody been successful?

    Is 2.0 now entirely with templates? Is there no .php file included at all like functions.php ?

    If you can find me a file with php that bypasses templated output I can put it in. But so can you probably.

    That code looks very similar to the 1.2 functions.php . Are you sure my $copyright .= way of hacking doesn't work?

    Already got it, i'm checking on the IZE forums now to see if it'll work though, it's a pretty big forum and i dont want problems, i aint got a test server setup due to costs.

    Almost eveyrting i search for can't be found and I am not experienced enough with php hacks to try and test.

    This forum has 25k pages indexed in G and it's valuable to me BIG TIME!

    Yep, it works. I have used in my forum. Also its useful if you want to run anyother php code in additon to what normal IPB supports.

    Yes, I can help you. Please send me the files to "hostmatrix@gmail.com"

    The files were perfecly modified by your self in first place. i didn't had any work to do. :D

    And got the problem why it didnt worked.

    You might have included them direcly like <% INCLUDE "ad_network.php" %>

    This wont work coz, you need another set of code to be placed in php pages.

    <?php
    ini_set ("include_path", ini_get ("include_path") .
    ':../:../../:../../../:../../../../');
    include ('ad_network.php');
    echo $ad_network;
    ?>

    Hence create a new file say "coop_ads.php" and paste the above code in it.

    Then use <% INCLUDE "coop_ads.php" %>

    Will work perfectly.

    Hope that helps.

    IPB WARNING [2] do_output(coop_ads.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory (Line: 262 of /sources/classes/class_display.php)
    IPB WARNING [2] do_output(): Failed opening 'coop_ads.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') (Line: 262 of /sources/classes/class_display.php)

    Code (markup):
    looks to me like php/includes:/usr/share/php' should be php/includes/usr/share/php'

    I think you have to place this file in forums root folder.

    Also the adnetwork files.
