hello, I am new to joomla. I have tried it and learned many things now. It was cool. But I was confused about ad management. I mean how to effectively put advertisements on joomla Ex: banners of different sizes, logos, or extra ad links. Is there any special tool or anything like that to do it ? Also, if there is any tutorial video then I would appreciate. Please help. Any kind of help would be highly appreciated. Thank you very much.
Alot depends on your template...the standard out of the box banner add module seems to only utilize a certain format sized banner.
you can find banner module on the back end ...upload your banner to banner folder ...or you can find free banner rotation module ...so your banner can change randomly..

Actualy this is a component (Banners) in administration (back-end) in Joomla! The module is part of it and can be placed in position regarding your choice. You can create categories, clients groups and multiple banners. You shold be aware that once you create more than one banner and set rotation, impressions ... Joomla! will start to write it to the DB and that may cause slowiing website or increasing cpu time on hosting. You can read on docs.joomla.org
