I'm looking to take my websites to a more professional level and actually make them more of a business than a hobby so I was just looking for suggestions on ad management. I currently just throw a Google adsense ad or two on each page and if i get any money, great, if not, oh well. However, I'm looking to take the advertising aspect of my sites to a more professional level. I have messed around with OpenAds before and other similar programs so I guess my questions is, what is your suggested way of dealing with advertising? OpenAds? Something like AdBrite? Or something else?
Different types of advertising work differently on each site. In other words, a forum may do better with banner ads (flash, images) whereas a blog may be better with text ads (Adsense)
Well, if you have high page views / impressions you may do well with OpenAds. It depends of your web site niche and how good you can sell your ad space. If it's low then you better stick with other ad programs... google, cj, and others
