Ad Filter not filtering.

Is it normal for it to take longer than 24 hours for the ad filter to start working? I had removed all of my blocked sites to test my income for a couple weeks. As expected, I made less money.

I put the sites back into the filter yesterday, but they are still showing on my site. Is this normal, or is there an issue with the filter that anybody knows about?

Sometimes it doesn't work at all. I filtered a competitor once, but his ads kept showing days later anyways. I emailed ADsense and one of their reps took a look at it and removed the ad. Email them with the url you want to filter and tell them how long it's been.
