    My opinion;

Firstly, I think Shawn would have to consider does this site bring value to the network. If a site joins the coop and points weight to pages very close to breaking the TOS then other members may pull their site out of the network. One site in and many sites out does not add value to the network.

Secondly, a site like this would need more carefull scrutiny to make sure all COOP links that are created point to pages with nothing that is going to be too offensive on member pages. Also constant checks would need to made inorder to make sure that the pages do not change after being accepted.

Thirdly, if a site like this is accepted i think there will be a tidal wave of others sites similar complaining why was this ad was accepted and not theirs.

Personally I think Samantha's site has lots of good info and I agree that it probably helps lots of people but the coop advertising network is not for it.

ok how do you define an "adult site" ? porn pics porn movies, porn stories, link to porn sites. selling sex industies stuff. member sites like BDSM and all the other kinky or sick places out there.

my site has nothing to do with any of that, i sell nothing, i have no ads on my site to buy anything, i do not link to porn sites and i do not use pics on my site unless they are needed and almost all are medical pics.

i have 3 pics of erect penii, one on the size page 2 on the reproduction page, i have movies of breast self exam, testicular self exam, child birth, and tampon use. i have other movies to, but they are microscopic movies on fertilization and stuff.

my site is more inline with plannedparenthood.com than sasydiva.com

would you ban planned parenthood? i bet you would'nt, because that has $100,000,000's of bux and pulling power.

    thats all this is about

The difference is I'm not trying to get it listed in the COOP am I. I just told you I don't personally have anything against your dirty sex site ;)

The bottom line is I wouldn't want my COOP sites linking to a site that has this on it:

    good advice
now yoyo go kiss my ass, your in the porn industry.

the diffrence is, its down to people to see the ad and click it, its their chioce, if they ckick it, its not some "ass pic in your face ad" its says "sexual health advice" thats all people will see unless they choose to click it, and i dont mind if you put my sites ip# in your htaccess deny **.***.***.* if its a 16 or under site

That was a good laugh. I'm in the porn industry because I'm an affiliate for lingerie? Do you not have malls or clothing stores over there in the UK? I think every womens clothing store has a little lingerie in it - do you consider victoria's secret "porn" too :D

Samantha, you're best advised to ignore yo-yo, who has demonstrated more than once that he's a moron.

That said, I agree that your site is a valuable resource for young people (and I have it listed in my health directory). Instead of starting the "Shawn's bitches" thread, it might have been better to request a review and ask how you can make your ads compliant. I'm not even sure who the Coop reviewers are here but presumably they are human and can make mistakes on occasion.

I 2nd that motion. Sams site is a valuable resource and it's not pornographic. BUT, there are a lot of conservative sites in the coop that would be probably be appalled by a link with the work "sexual" in it. What about using the anchor text "health advice" or "Ask Sam"?

OK here comes the red reps

Sam your site is good but the COOP is a COOP and is open to all that wish to join and the fact that the vast majo.. are family friendly i.e zero adult content

So just because someone kicks off its ok ??

Your site has adult images whether porn or not they are still something I would die if my 12 yrs old boy managed to find from a link from one of my COOP sites !!!

Sorry Summer but - I do not care what the anchor text says its the site that should be reviewed

Sorry just had to tip in as the site is great and so are many other adult sites but if I wanted to join or link to that kind of site there are loads out there

But the reason I stay with the COOP is because it is controlled and if a visitor clicks on an ad then I can relax

    Sorry just my 10 pence

That's what I have been saying... its not so much about the ad link per se, it is about where that ad is pointing to

I couldn't find any adult images on Sam's site. Did you sign up for a membership? It would be one thing if someone click through your site and was bombarded with a huge picture of a penis or something. It's kind of scary that you'd want to "protect" your 12 year old son from something that could save his life. Trust me, if your son is on the internet, he has seen real porn...

I don't have kids or own kid's sites, and really could care less about whether that site is good for a 12 year old.

But in all fairness, I do think it is over the line a bit when it has vaginal fingering on the front page in bold and underline. I don't care if it has pictures or not, that is not "family friendly" in my book. :)

well it dont matter i have removed the application, and i would never have used "health advice" or "ask sam" both are misleading, and someone who did click on one of them, has every right to be pissed if they seen its sexual health advice only.

like i said, i have pics of STD's and movies on a birth and breast self exam and also testicular self exam i would sooner have people educated in sex/sexual health, than have someone 15 waiting 5 months to tell her mom she's pregnant, and only did it the once.

but it dont matter, i have given up on the coop, and on the wankers that call my site a "dirty sex site"

so you wont hear anymore about it from me.
and thanx to the others that think my site is worth doing. just to let you know some stats over the years.
my site and myself have been contacted by 6 girls from the uk usa and austrailia, that have suffered sexual abuse, all 6 where helped and talked to for up to 6 weeks, and helped to get taken to a place of safety.
3 other girls have had help with pregnancy,
1 boy had a testical removed at age 17 from finding a lump after seeing the movie on how to check for yourself.

I think you are missing the point. It's not a moral argument that needs to be made.

I'm not saying anything negative about your site. It may save a thousand people from STD's and cancer. I'm not saying it's a "dirty sex site" either. All I am saying is that if the coop is supposed to be "family friendly", then a site with the words "vaginal fingering" on the index page isn't appropriate. IMHO

But I don't run DP, and don't really control or care if the ad runs on my sites. I was just giving my opinion from an unbiased point of view.
