I recently came across a company called buysellads.com which lets you buy and sell ads at a recurring fixed monthly rate which is pretty nice. You can see it in action on my site iconzworld.com (notice the fav icons in the middle top and the 125x125 ad-spots in the right column.

I like this company but they are currently only in the beta stages and still have a few business things to work out. What I would like to know is there any other companies like this out there where you can buy or sell recurring ads at a fixed monthly rate that has a listing of all possible sites to advertise on?

Would you people recommend per click advertising over this kind?

I don't like PPC ads because I think they are mostly annoying. They have extremely low click through rates and click fraud is becoming a bigger problem every day. That's my two cents.

PPC ads should be used for niche's that are less competitive in my opinion. Granted, if you have a little money to throw out there then you can do the necessary trial and error. However, if your budget is tight and you know you have a lot of competitiors you will be spending more per visitor, thus, less cost effective.

I'm not really sure how your niche looks to be honest. Go to Google and type in a few keyphrases and see how many competitors you might have in Adwords for those keywords.

I personally would not use PPC if you can not use Google. Google is probably bad enough, but it is far better than any other PPC system in keeping out the scammers.
