Ad code between pictures?

Is having your advertse between 2 pictures classed as drawing too much attention to them? I know you can use them below pictures, and above pictures but what about slap bang between 2 pictures?

For an example of what I mean click the link: http://www.exotic-pets.eu/cuban-burrowing-roaches.php

That looks fine to me. I don't think there would be any problems with it.

OMG you could have warned that we'll see cockroach like insects! :D
    Am scared of these "beasts"

    <back to topic> :D
Your adsense looks ok to me, and you are leaving enough space between the ads and the pics, I don't think it's against adsense TOS.

This would not be classified as too much attention because many places do it. Like some forums post google ads between posts. Such as what I am seeing under your topic.

You could even try a half banner below each picture, that would make the ads look more like "captions" without dragging "too" much attention

I've decided I'm not going to have more than 2 ad units and 1 link unit per page. Otherwise it just looks too ad heavy :)

then it´s well placed, I like your template.

Maybe a good idea for increased text link conversion could be a breadcrumb below text link unit, I found a little difficult to navigate through your site (for example, I couldn´t find the beetle page by myself).

"Digital Point Forums > Search Engines > Google > AdSense > Placement / Reviews / Examples"
at the top of this page would be a breadcrumb.

Very nice spot for your adsense ads. I bet your CTR will be off the roof!
I think you are fine as far as Google is concerned. There is no malicious intent there.
