Can anyone who has used Ad Brite as an advertiser post some feedback here? I am thinking baout getting started with it. Where do the ads show up and what type of results should I expect?

Any good idea on a daily budget? I'm thinking $25-$50 to start?

We used adbrite and we will not use them again. Approx. 75% of the clicks were from pages constructed to generate clicks - read: no content - bogus clicks - no real visitors = no conversion = no sales

adbrite also overcharged us, first refused to admit their fault, or offer a refund. They promised a credit back to our credit card, and that hasn't happened yet, as of this writing.

    How's that for feedback?

Honestly I was kind of concerned about the same thing. Unfortunately my industry is a bit overcrowded and I could not make a return by using Adwords. I want to try a different solution for PPC.

Buy advertising on specific sites that you research carefully; don't buy network ads because then you end up the victim of bad clicks. AdBrite ads show on some well respected websites but also on some very lame ones as other people have already said. There is value in AdBrite's marketplace but you have to do some work to find it.

It all depends what sites you advertise on. Choose sites to advertise on that have good content on them and have a decent Alexa ranking.

And that's also another problem with Adbrite as opposed to using Google. Google makes a strong effort to help you figure out how best to run your ad campaign. When I spoke to a rep at Adbrite asking for some assistance in our campaign, I was met with the line "that's something you need to figure out for yourself", whereas Google actually contacted us and offered any assistance they could give. That together with the other experiences in my original reply sums up an altogether poor customer experience for us.
