Is there anyway to block people from viewing your site if they use an adblocker product? If a user attempts to view my site I would like to block their access and put a warning on the browser telling them they need to deactivate adblocker to access the website. I've only recently started my website and never once have I ever used adblocker software while surfing the web - I think its stupid and I like seeing ads cos sometimes stuff actually interests me (except youtube ads). Has anyone else done this? What was your experience? My attitude is if a user doesn't want to tolerate ads, they can either pay or receive zero content. If this is doable I would certainly like to do it.
Just search for "anti adblock" in Google and you will find several scripts that do exactly what you want. some examples: http://www.antiblock.org/ (unfortunately only in german language) http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/anti-adblock/ (for WordPress blog software) http://www.cthreepo.com/antiadblock.shtml ...and like i just said, you can find even more using Google.
