Hope he's ok.. I love this guy!

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Actor Owen Wilson was taken to a hospital in Santa Monica, Calif., Sunday, reportedly after attempting suicide.

Wilson was transported to St. John’s Hospital. Citing sources, The National Enquirer and Star magazine said the star of "Wedding Crashers" and "Starsky & Hutch" had cut his left wrist and taken an undetermined amount of pills.

He was found by a family member who called for help.

Santa Monica police confirmed only that the actor had been taken to a hospital, TMZ.com reported.

He has all the money he ever needs and is famous but must not be happy.

 

Really? I am shocked Owen Wilson looks like the type of guy who has it all.

that's sad. i like owen wilson and his movie's. Maybe a lot of personal problems.

 

I know... the first thing people think is; he's rich and famous... what problems could he possibly have, forgetting of course, that he's human as well.

 

He is a good actor and I like almost all of his movies. He doesn't look like a suicide person but there must be some serious trouble. Lets hope he gets ok soon.

 

He always portrays a character that's so laid back.. hopefully he'll recover soon as his on-screen persona has really been an inspiration to me. He always cheers me up!

 

He was going out with Kate Hudson and they broke up and now she's with Dax Shephard. I think seeing your ex with Dax Shephard would be enough to put any man over the edge.

 

I would have never have guessed that. he seemed to have everything he could need, but obviously something must have gone bad in his life.

 

Thats too bad, but more likely a plea for help than a true sucide attempt.

Many men actually commit sucide, many more women "attempt" in a plea for help. Its hard for a man to ask for help.

If not successful its likely they just want help but not to die necessarily. maybe he will get help now.

 

i think its rumoured about suicide, hes living such good life

To make it clear.. he didn't commit suicide, he ATTEMPTED suicide.. there's a difference.

 

that's a shame, why couldn't it have been Tom Cruise

well, now I certainly know that MONEY can't buy anything

 

i m very upset to hear about it i m a big fan of him i pray for him he get well soon and he will never try this again

 

It's so sad that someone with would i could only image is living an amazing life could be that depressed but it guess depression can get everyone, even the right and famous.

I reckon he is one of the top actors of the current generation.

 

I too was shocked when I read this story. I have seen him in a bunch of movies and he was fantastic in "Meet the Parents". I hope he gets the help he needs. People with and without money get depressed. Unfortunately, some people believe that money buys one happiness. The truth is that some of the happiest people I have met in life didn't have any money at all.

 

I like Owen Wilson. I hope he is okay, I had not heard about this until now.
