    Very nice forum. MhW are you Murder He Wrote? I note the quote from Murder He Wrote in your blog;

Can you please clarify how many hours, you as the owner were spending on the site per week?

Who completed the posting packages on your members's forums? Did you do that on your own, or did the other staff help you? How many hours per week did that take?

Did you ever pay any of your staff or forum members?

I'm interested in the site, but would like to fully understand the commitments involved with owning it, before placing a bid.

Do you have an end date for the auction?

Your blog links to forums with a similar theme to FP. Will you be working on any similar forums, after you sell this site?

    Hello.

It takes 1-2 hours a week. All the extra time I spent on the site was completely optional, not required at all. With the large staff and team leaders behind your back you can safely sit back knowing the board is safe. As for the other things I mentioned (Spammers, Rule Breakers, Trolls), you find these on every forum - even here. It's nothing new, 99% of the time though the site is well behaved and a very friendly / welcoming community.

Posting packages are completed by members of the "Package Team", these are voulenteers who benefit in several different ways. However if you were to take over you would be welcome to do what you like with the package service - including closing it if you really wanted.

Nope. All of the staff are voulenteers, you would be surprised at how many applications for the staff we receive.

Ideally I'm looking to get the site off my hands as soon as possible. Ideally tonight or tomorrow at some point. There is no BIN (unless somebody sends an unbeatable offer).

The blog was written by another Admin who resigned a long time ago.

I will not be working for any other Advertising Communities once the site is sold. My attention lies elsewhere. In addition to that there is no real competition for the site, it's the market leader in its niche so it would be a step down working for another similar site.

New Bid for $675 received via PM.

If anyone has any more questions or requires any more screen shots please feel free to ask. Just thought I'd add that the forum started in April 2007 and has been running strong since then, has never closed. Averaging at least 1,000 posts per day for some time now. At this rate the board will hit 1 Million posts around 3rd October 2011.

Auction finishes in exactly 24 hours.

Will you be available to provide some tech support or advice to the new owner, after the site has been sold? Perhaps you could please PM me with some suggestions, if you could provide this on an ongoing paid basis.

How many posts were made per month, in June, July and August of this year? I'm hoping that info is easy to find in the admin area.

    Thanks!

I can offer you post-sales support and advice. I'll be around on MSN to give you a hand with anything and offer you advice whilst you settle in. There will also be another Admin around (Assuming you choose to keep him (CarMadMike) who knows the forum inside out and will be an essential asset if you choose to buy).

We don't have monthly stats for the posts made on the forum, all I can say is that for the past 3 or 4 months we've been turning over at least 1,000 posts a day (1,500 some days). There has been nothing to suggest these stats will drop. :) . The forum runs phpBB 3.0.5, I guess you could download and install to localhost to get familiar with the software before buying the site (again, assuming you do buy).

Thought I'd mention as well the homepage is integrated with the forum.

    The current Bid is $675.

Would you like to re-evaluate your bid? :p

Just thought I'd add, winner is welcome to change the forum software too. Because it's currently powered by phpBB doesn't mean it has to stay that way. A large percentage of the community are big fans of paid software such as vBulletin and IPB3. Bare that in mind all of you with un-used licenses lying around.

Last month the site used around 29GB bandwidth, this month the site has used about 27.5GB bandwidth, so on average just shy of 1GB per day.

A BIN has been offered in the range of v.high $xxx / low $x,xxx . Does anybody wish to raise their bid or contact me with a competing offer?

Auction closes in 9 hours time.

The site has now been sold for an undisclosed fee.

I would like to thank all those for showing an interest.
