Hi, I have several different websites in my Google Analytics. On all - except one - I was able to activate 'Reports on demographic characteristics and interests' in the property settings (to get the information about age and gender). On one page this area is not even displayed. 'Property hit volume' is directly followed by 'In-Page-Analysis' (see screenshot). Does anyone have any idea what might be causing it? Thanks for help. Markus, from Austria
Hi JEET, I don't know how google get these data, but I know that the data are - at least in part - available. The option to activate that is available on all other pages, except for one. Can someone help me, does anyone have an idea? Thanks for your feedback. Markus, from Austria
Try these, https://www.google-analytics.ie/blog/how-does-google-analytics-track-user-gender-and-age/ Some other option "advertising reports" has to be turned on first. by the way, isn't this just plain stealing user information by google? So I was logged in my gmail account, and I visited your website afterwards, which had demographics turned on, and using analytics, and now google transfers my gmail profile info to you... And people said IE was insecure... GREAT!!!
