Hello, I have understood that when I refer a visitor to eBay, which isnt a member of eBay and they sign up and make a bid within the first 30 days then its counted as a ACRU and awarded with $25, but does this count for ALL contries? Thanks, Jonas
no. if you an ebay US affiliate and someone signs up and bids via ebay US then yes. if you are an ebay UK affiliate and someone sign up and bids via ebay NZ then no. you have to be an affiliate of the country ebay that wins the customer to "win" the commission.
also the commission on acrus is different per ebay domain e.g. .com = $25 around £12 and .co.uk is £7 around $14 which is annoying!
So if a user from UK goes to ebay.com and signs up, do you get the .com or .co.uk commission? I would assume that the signup process would redirect to the proper country site if available.
as I understand it he must have your ebay US cookie and he must become active and then you get commission. I don't believe if he goes to ebay US with your ebay UK cookie you will get commission. Anyone???
I just did a quick test and you do get redirected to your countries local site. If you go to ebay.co.uk and pick US as your country it takes you to ebay.com, same with .ca Looks like you will be loosing signups if you don't do proper country redirection.
