Acronym domain or full domain?

    I'm planning to put up a fansite of one band. I'm just wondering if a 5-letter acronym domain is better than the name of the band (plus two letters) as my domain?

    Depends on the acronym, whether it is at least popular or not.
    If the acronym is popular for the band fans, i guess there's nothing wrong with it.

    And check the name of the band without two letters, whether it is developed or not.
    Because if you take the two letters and the without two letters is developed, maybe there are misleading traffic from your domain to the other type.

    If it's a five letter acronym thats going to be a very long domain name if you go for the whole band name.
