ACH Payment Processor

More and more of my customers are wishing to pay via ACH, and I've done bits of investigation on directly uploading NACHA files, etc to my bank, but the process is complicated, and somewhat nasty.

I'm curious, anybody familiar with ACH payment processors that do the process via an API post system similar to authorize.net?

Make sure you've very careful with using an online drafting system. These funds are not guaranteed in any way, so a payment can easily come back as insufficient or fraudulent after you ship a product. It's a good idea if you can, to hold off on shipping until the payment clears the bank. If these are repeat/well know customers it may not be a problem, but you're generally taking a huge risk to ship before an ACH clears.

PayPal deposits money to your make account via ACH.
A lot of companies do. It's a standard. It's free to do.
